Aerolineas Argentinas S.A., along with its subsidiaries, operates as an airline company in Argentina. It provides aero commercial transportation for passengers in Argentine market. The company was founded in 1950 and is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Though the roots of Aerolineas Argentinas go back to the 1920's with the Argentine Airmail fleet and other small airlines, the carrier was really formed by a merger of a lot of the important carriers in 1950 as the state nationalized the airline.
